“Weather Permitting” Beginning Monday, August 22, at 9:00 am, a portion of Kimball Road (SR 1211) in Rowan County (Landis) will close as the contractor (Mountain Creek Contractors INC) replaces a single-span bridge over Grants Creek with a triple barrel box culvert.  The closure is expected to be removed late-December of 2022.

The following signed detour will be utilized during the closure:  Patterson Street (SR1225) to South Main Street (SR2739).  Local traffic will still be able to access locations on either side of the project site up to the points of closure.
