Welcome to Landis, where cool fall Friday nights are reserved for high school football at the Home of the South Rowan Raiders. Where winter brings Town traditions like the Southern Rowan Christmas Parade, Christmas tree lighting, and a giving community spirit. Spring brings families together in the great outdoors with fishing, hiking, disc golf and our all-time favorite Easter Egg Hunt at Lake Corriher Wilderness Park. On warm summer days you will find local high school students lifeguarding at the community pool, while family and friends enjoy a dip in the cool water. You can even enjoy a nice ripe watermelon from one of our local farmers at our community farmers market. Landis is a hometown where everyone can enjoy being a part of the community.
