The Town of Landis offers many community events and activities throughout the year such as Local Farmers Markets, Outdoor Movie Nights, and special Holiday events.
Easter Egg-Stravaganza
Join us at the site of the future DCFL Park on N. Central Ave, for an EGG-CITING Easter Egg-Stravaganza! Meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy egg hunts, a mini petting zoo, and food vendors at this family-friendly event!!

📌After each hunt, we ask that kids come to the “Egg Exchange” and swap their eggs for a Special Treat Bag from the Easter Bunny! (of course, if they find a special egg they would like to keep, they are welcome to do so!) The Egg exchange ensures that no matter how many eggs your kiddos gather, they will receive a fun bag of goodies!

Bring the whole family out for a FREE hands-on experience at the Town of Landis Touch-A-Truck event! Children will have the exciting opportunity to see, touch, and explore a variety of vehicles—fire trucks, police cruisers, dump trucks, utility trucks, and more—all in one place.
Meet the people who operate these machines, snap some photos, and enjoy a fun and educational outing for all ages!

Christmas Parade & Downtown Tree Lighting
Tuesday, November 24th, 2026, 3:00 pm
Parade starts on S. Main St in Landis and continues into China Grove.
Enjoy meeting some favorite Christmas characters, making kids’ crafts, writing letters to Santa, and enjoying some delicious food and treats from local vendors. Activities begin after the parade along N. Central Ave in Landis, leading up to our Christmas Tree Lighting that starts at 6:00 pm!
Tree Lighting Celebration
Join us at the future home of the D.C. and Frances Linn Community Park for our 9th Annual Downtown Tree Lighting Event! Come out and meet Frosty and The Grinch, enjoy kids’ crafts, and grab a bite from our yummy food vendors. Plus – don’t forget to stop by and write your letter to Santa!
