NOTICE OF PUBLIC LEGISLATIVE HEARING

The Mayor and Board of Aldermen invite you to attend public legislative hearing to share your comments on the following amendment and agreement requests. The hearings will be held at the stated time or as soon thereafter as time will allow. The public hearings will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the Landis Town Hall, 312 South Main Street, Landis, NC 28088. Hearing impaired persons requiring assistance should contact the Town Clerk (704) 857-2411 at least 24 hours prior to the hearing to request special accommodations.

PUBLIC HEARING #1

The Town of Landis will conduct a public legislative hearing on a proposed development agreement for property owners Byrne Properties Inc. and BDM Builders, LLC containing 1.04 acres, more or less, located on Kimball Road in the Town of Landis, North Carolina, such property being identifiable as Rowan County property identification numbers 123B115.  The Development Agreement is available for inspection in the office of the Town Clerk and online at www.townoflandisnc.gov prior to the hearing date.

PUBLIC HEARING #2

The Town of Landis has received a petition for Zoning Map Amendment (rezoning) of Tax parcel 123B119, located at 630 Kimball Road, by owners Dynamic Developers of the Carolinas, LLC. The petition is to change from Single Family-3 (SFR-3) Zoning District to Mixed Use -1 (MU-1) Zoning District.
