PUBLIC LEGISLATIVE HEARING NOTICE

The Town of Landis received a petition from the owners of properties located: 1) southeast of 1260 Dial Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083 consisting of approximately 7.14 acres; and, 2) 0 Old Beatty Ford Road, Landis, NC 28088 consisting of approximately 4.27 acres (Rowan County Parcel ID numbers 133A099 and 140 004 respectively) for voluntary contiguous annexation into the town limits of the Town of Landis. The property consists of approximately 11.41 acres. The request is for an “Industrial Zoning” (IND) zoning designation for the subject properties.  The Mayor and Board of Aldermen invite you to attend a public legislative hearing to share your comments on both the annexation and the zoning designation to be held concurrently in accordance with G.S. 160D-204.  The concurrent public hearing on the annexation and zoning designation will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023, 6:00 PM at the Landis Town Hall, 312 South Main Street, Landis, NC  28088.  Hearing impaired persons requiring assistance should contact the Town Clerk (704) 857-2411 at least 24 hours prior to the hearing to request special accommodations.
