The Town of Landis received a petition from the owner of property located on Mt. Moriah Church Road, Landis, NC 28088 (Rowan County Parcel ID 130 045) from the current designation of “Single Family Residential – 2” (SFR-2)” to a zoning designation of “Single Family Residential- 3” (SFR-3) in accordance with G.S. 160D-604(b).
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen invite you to attend the zoning hearing to start your comments on the proposed amendment to be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM or as early thereafter as the agenda progression allows, at the Landis Town Hall, 312 S. Main Street, Landis, NC 28088

The Town of Landis received a petition from the owner of property located on the southeast side of N Cannon Boulevard, Landis, NC 28083 (Rowan County Parcel ID number 133A059) for voluntary contiguous annexation into the Town of Landis corporate limits. The property consists of approximately 0.53 acres. The request is for a “US Highway 29 Commercial” (C-29) zoning designation for the subject property.
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen invite you to attend a public legislative hearing to share your comments on both the annexation and the zoning designation to be held concurrently in accordance with G.S. l 60D-204. The concurrent public hearing on the annexation and zoning designation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Landis Town Hall, 312 South Main Street, Landis, NC 28088.

The Town of Landis will hold a legislative public hearing regarding a Zoning Map Amendment (rezoning) of property owned by the Town of Landis, being the owner of the certain land areas hereinafter described as Rowan County Tax Parcel ID 107 05601 located beside 501 W Taylor street from the current designation of “Civic” (CIV) to a zoning designation of “Single-Family Residential-I” (SFR-1) in accordance with G.S. 160D-604(b).

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Town of Landis Board of Aldermen will conduct a public hearing relating to the Town of Landis entering into a Development Agreement pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes §§ 160D-1001 et seq with the following companies: SH Irish Creek Club, LLC and Shea Homes Carolina, LLC. Pursuant to the Agreement, Developer intends to construct a residential project upon approximately 1023.81 +/- acres of real property being Rowan County Tax Parcel ID’s# 249C094000001, 244 011, 245 163, 244 169, 244 158, 142 049000001, 131 173, 131 143, 131 145, 131 144, 141 0010000001, 131 07202, 131 07201, 132 108, 132 0130000001, 131 202 and 131 142, (the “Property”); and
