NOTICE OF PUBLIC LEGISLATIVE HEARING
PUBLIC HEARING #1 – Official Notice of Keller Property Mt. Moriah Church Rd. (Annexation & Zoning)
The Town of Landis has received a petition for the voluntary annexation of 22.09+/- acres from the owners of the property located at 0 Mt. Moriah Church Road, Landis, NC 28088 (Rowan County Parcel ID 130 0450000002 lying outside the Town Limits of the Town and north of Mt. Moriah Church road) contiguous to the Town Limits. The property request is for a “Mixed-Use-2” (MU-2) zoning designation with a Planning Board recommendation of “Mixed-Use-1” (MU-1) for the subject property. The Mayor and Board of Aldermen invite you to attend a public legislative hearing to share your comments on both the annexation and the zoning designation to be held concurrently in accordance with G.S. 160D-204. The concurrent public hearing on the annexation and zoning designation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, 6:00 PM at the Landis Town Hall, 312 South Main Street, Landis, NC 28088. Hearing impaired persons requiring assistance should contact the Town Clerk (704) 857-2411 at least 24 hours prior to the hearing to request special accommodations.
PUBLIC HEARING #2 – Official Notice of the Town of Landis Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2025
Notice is hereby given in accordance with the requirements of N.C.G.S. 159-12 that the proposed Fiscal Year 2025 Annual Operating Budget was presented to the Town of Landis Board of Aldermen on May 13, 2024, and is available for public inspection. A copy of this budget has been placed on file with the Town Clerk and is available online for citizens to view at www.townoflandisnc.gov. If a citizen wishes to come to Town Hall to view the budget, contact the Town Clerk at 704-857-2411 to schedule a time for review.
A Public Hearing will be held for the proposed FY25 Annual Operating Budget at the regular scheduled Board of Aldermen meeting on June 10, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. in the Town of Landis Board Room located at 312 S. Main Street, Landis, NC 28088.
All interested persons are invited to attend the Public Hearing to present their comments to the Board of Alderman.
