NOTICE OF PUBLIC LEGISLATIVE HEARINGS
The Town of Landis has received a petition for the voluntary annexation of 1.066+/- acres from the owners of the property located at 270 & 280 & 0 Old Beatty Ford Rd, Landis, NC 28088 (Rowan County Parcel ID 133 236, 133 237, & 133 123, Owned by Two-Ten Investors INC., lying outside the Town Limits of the Town and north of Old Beatty Ford Rd contiguous to the Town Limits. The proposed amendment will change the property to an Industrial (IND) zoning designation.
The Town of Landis will hold a legislative public hearing regarding a petition for Zoning Map Amendment (rezoning) of Tax Map 109, Parcel 008, owner Town of Landis, the property address is 0 East Garden Street (previously addressed as 214 East Garden Street). The proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map will change the property from the Main Street (MS) Zoning District to the Civic (CIV) Zoning District
The Town of Landis will hold a legislative public hearing regarding a petition for Zoning Map Amendment (rezoning) of Tax Map 133, Parcel 002A, owner Stable-1, LLC, the property address is 0 Coldwater Street. The proposed amendment to the Official Zoning Map will change the property from the US Highway 29 Commercial District(C-29) Zoning District to the Mixed Use-2 (MU-2) Zoning District.
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen invite you to attend the concurrent annexation and zoning hearing(s) to share your comments on the proposed amendment(s) to be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 6:00 PM or as early thereafter as the agenda progression allows, at the Landis Town Hall, 312 S. Main St, Landis, NC 28088.
