NOTICE OF PUBLIC LEGISLATIVE HEARINGS
1.The Town of Landis will hold a legislative public hearing regarding the application for Master Sign Plan for property owned by FIRST REFORMED CHURCH OF LANDIS, located at 210 N CENTRAL ST, Landis, NC 28088 (Rowan County Parcel ID 109 015). The proposed amendment will allow for a Monument sign at the corner of Chapel Street and Garden Street in a different location than what is accepted by the Town of Landis Land Development Ordinance and directional signs to help identify offices and parking on campus.
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen invite you to attend the Master Sign Plan hearing to share your comments on the proposed amendment(s) to be held on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 6:00 PM or as early thereafter as the agenda progression allows, at the Landis Town Hall, 312 S. Main St, Landis, NC 28088.

2. The Town of Landis will hold a legislative public hearing regarding a Zoning Map Amendment (rezoning) of property owned by Town of Landis, being the owner of the certain land areas hereinafter described as Rowan County Tax Parcel ID 133A103 and 133A105 located between 1000 and 1040 Coldwater Street from the current designation of “Civic” (CIV) to a zoning designation of “Single-Family Residential-2” (SFR-2) in accordance with G.S. 160D-604(b).
