“Year of the Trail”

Looking to get out and enjoy the great outdoors more in 2023? Join the Landis Parks and Recreation department as we celebrate the “Year of the Trail” in collaboration with N.C. Recreation and Parks Association. Each month we will celebrate by hosting special events at Lake Corriher Wilderness Park. The initiative was designated by the North Carolina General Assembly in hopes that citizens would get out and explore the many terrains and trails that our state has to offer. The statewide campaign will introduce citizens to new locations throughout the state.
